A China national, previously charged with drug trafficking, is due in court today to answer to an additional charge of money laundering.

In January 2022, police searched a house in Millennium Park, Trincity and allegedly found a quantity of the drug Ketamine and currency in the sums of TT$33,775 and 865 Yen.

The suspect was at the time, charged with the offence of Trafficking in Ketamine.

Following investigations, the man has also been charged with money laundering and is due to appear at the Arima Magistrates’ Court.
