Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Brochures have been handed over to strategic partners for distribution.
And Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Gender and Child Affairs, Ayanna Webster-Roy, is challenging persons to Pass the Brochure information on.
The handover was done today as part of heightened public sensitisation efforts in commemoration of Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month.
The brochures include details on the signs and how to respond and prevent child abuse.
Recipients will include households nationwide via TTPost, the Education Ministry’s primary and secondary schools, all NALIS libraries, Health and Outreach Centres within the various RHAs and non-governmental organisations.
