THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine says the new Secretary of Finance will be carefully chosen and announced after the THA Budget Presentation.

Mr Augustine currently holds the portfolio, however he recently announced a reshuffle, which included a new person in the position from July 1st 2024.

At a media briefing today, he outlined some of the criteria to be used for the selection.

The Chief Secretary also defended the recent reshuffle saying it bore no malice and was instead to ensure the island’s continued development.
