The THA intends to take civil action against those responsible for the oil spill impacting Tobago.

At a media briefing this afternoon, Chief Secretary Farley Augustine says data continues to be gathered, with this intention.

He also explained why the THA cannot pursue criminal action.

Also speaking at the briefing was TEMA Director Allan Stewart, who says oil is no longer leaking from the overturned vessel, with efforts continuing to deal with the wreck.
