Charges are expected to be laid on an Arouca man following a robbery on Saturday.
Around 4:15pm, a woman was tied up at her Ricemill Road home by a man – two more persons were accosted as they arrived at the home around 10 minutes later in a silver Nissan Tiida.
In total, three bandits took the vehicle and made an escape.
Checks revealed that jewellery and three cell phones were missing from the home.
Police were alerted to the incident and intercepted the stolen vehicle at Kingdom Avenue in Maturita and arrested a 29-year-old man from Arouca.
Charges are expected early this week.
