Canada picked up their first win in the ICC’s Men’s T20 World Cup, with a 12 run victory over Ireland today.

Batting first in New York, Canada made 137/7, with a top score of 49 from Nicholas Kirton.

In reply, Ireland could only manage 125/7, despite a fighting 34 from Mark Adair.

Two more matches are on the cards tonight:

• New Zealand will play Afghanistan in Providence, Guyana.
• Bangladesh will face off against Sri Lanka in Dallas.
