“Calm Down” by Rema is now the most-streamed Afrobeats song in the US.

According to the music monitoring platform Chart Data, “Calm Down” has earned over one billion on-demand streams in the US.

Billboard magazine music analysts have attributed the success to its “melancholy slow jam with a subtle hypnotic draw”.

The song was released in February 2022 as a single off Rema’s debut album, Rave and Roses.
