Caribbean Airlines Limited says approximately $14 million has been paid to pilots following the conclusion of negotiations in December 2024 for the period 2015 – 2020.
In a statement, it says this based on the agreed additional increase of 4%, and in addition to the 14.5% average cumulative increase to salaries that pilots already received during the period.
It also insists that it remains committed to good-faith negotiations with the T&T Airline Pilots Association to ensure fair and equitable terms and conditions of employment for its pilots.
The Airline’s statement follows claims that CAL has not completed the full payment of arrears to pilots.
TTALPA also recently erected a billboard on BWIA Boulevard calling for a settlement of negotiations for the period 2020 – 2023.
