Brian Mac Farlane’s Christmas concert series begins tomorrow, December 10th 2023, at Queen’s Hall, St Ann’s with the charity Gala show.
The event is now in its 6th year and for 2023, the theme is ‘Christmas Joy with a Whisper of Hope’.
At an earlier media launch, Mr Mac Farlane elaborated on ‘A Whisper of Hope’ saying, “It was quite easy to look around at the entire world and this country and you realise without hope there is nothing. Without hope, you can just wither away. So what keeps us alive without even realising it, is the word hope. One of the definitions I was looking for hope is grounded in the belief, that something good will happen.”
The acclaimed masman and event producer added that staging Christmas Joy always brings hope and joy to the audience that comes to see the dedication and hard work put in by the choir, star cast, production, and wardrobe team.
This year, the production team includes drama director Dr Helmer Hilwig, musical director Dr Charles Brunner, choir director Michael Hudlin, choir BMacnificent Voices, and hand-picked renowned soloists.
Following Sunday’s Gala, ‘Christmas Joy with a Whisper of Hope’ continues from December 14th to 16th with the grand finale on December 17th.
Tickets are available at the Queen’s Hall Box Office.
