Legendary singer Boodram Holass has passed away.

His death was confirmed to 103.1FM News by his sister Rukminee Holass-Beepath.

We were told that he had been warded at the San Fernando Teaching Hospital where he passed away overnight.

Holass was 68 and would have been 69 later this month.

Funeral arrangements are yet to be confirmed.

Holass-Beepath told 103.1FM News that her brother’s voice never failed, despite his ailing over the past years.

As recently as yesterday he sang for family members in the hospital.
