A decomposing body has been found in Freeport.

It is believed to be 77-year-old Madoo Satram, who has been missing since last Saturday.

According to the Hunters Search and Rescue Team, the discovery was made this evening by Mr Satram’s relatives, in some bushes near to his home at Jaideo Trace, off Freeport Todds Road.

The police were subsequently notified.
