The body of the late Basdeo Panday will lie in Honour for public viewing today at the Southern Academy for the Performing Arts.

From 7:10am, a drive will begin as his body is conveyed from Dass Funeral Home in Marabella to SAPA.

Then, from 9am to 5:30pm, his body will lie in Honour for public viewing at SAPA.

This comes ahead of his State funeral tomorrow which starts with his body being conveyed under military escort from Cipero Street to SAPA where the funeral starts from 9am.

Following the funeral service, his body will leave SAPA and go to Mosquito Creek for final rites.

Mr Panday passed away on January 1st 2024 at the age of 90.
