Barataria/San Jaun MP Saddam Hosein has raised questions surrounding Plipdeco’s purchase of $20,000 worth of PNM Fete Tickets.
With evidence in hand at last evening’s UNC Pavement report, he called for a police investigation and Integrity Commission probe into the issue.
Mr Hosein also commented on the appointment of Camille Robinson-Regis as Attorney General, highlighting that the highest legal officer in the land was not a practicing attorney.
Meanwhile, UNC Deputy Political Leader Dr Roodal Moonilal has called for the party’s legal experts to explore means to reverse Prime Minister Stuart Young’s lifetime pension, after only serving for one month.
At the UNC’s Pavement Report meeting last night, he also noted that Finance Minsiter Vishnu Dhanpaul will be the only Minister to not deliver a budget speech.
