One person was killed in a police-involved shooting as officers responded to a robbery in Felicity this morning.
Around 2:15am, bandits stole cash and alcohol before one escaped in a car and the other got away on foot after allegedly shooting at police who had come to the scene.
About 45 minutes later, police in Charlieville spotted a man fitting the description of the suspect who escaped on foot.
As they gave chase, he allegedly pointed a firearm in their direction prompting them to shoot and fatally wound him.
Police say one loaded pistol was found in the possession of the deceased who was pronounced dead at the hospital in Mt Hope.
