An Arrive Alive director says fatal road accidents have become “too commonplace” but believes slow progress is being made in road safety.

Niall Casimire spoke on 103.1FM’s Sargam this morning, ahead of World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims and Arrive Alive’s Walk and Ride – both on Sunday 19th November 2023.

During the discussion, Mr Casimire gave feedback on the road stats recorded so far for 2023.

Arrive Alive’s ride on November 19th takes place at the Queen’s Park Savannah from 6am.

The event seeks to promote safer roads, safer vehicles and safer road users, which Mr Casimire says is a slow process.
