Regional corporation officials plan to visit the site of a Gran Couva landslip on Friday to consider possible temporary measures.
This morning there was another fiery protest which followed a similar one yesterday morning at Cameron Road where a landslip has left the area with limited access since 2022.
Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation Chairman Ryan Rampersad says residents are not backing down until they get more communication on the way forward from the Works Ministry.
In the meantime, he notes, his officials will look into temporary relief when they visit at the end of the week.
