Indian batter Ambati Rayudu has joined the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots for the 2023 Caribbean Premier League.

The league announced him today as a replacement for Tristan Stubbs who is no longer available for the tournament.

Rayudu has a wealth of experience in the T20 format with 291 matches under his belt, along with over 4000 runs in the Indian Premier League.

He has become the second Indian cricketer to play in the men’s CPL after legspinner Pravin Tambe’s stint with Trinbago Knight Riders in 2020.

The 2023 CPL season gets underway on August 16th with the Patriots playing their first match against the Trinbago Knight Riders on August 19th.
