Next year, Air Canada will once again fly from Toronto Pearson International Airport to the Piarco International Airport.
According to an announcement from the Airports Authority of T&T, scheduled flights between YYZ and POS will begin on May 1st 2025.
This development is being welcomed by Tourism Minister Randall Mitchell, who believes the enhanced connectivity will drive new opportunities for the local hospitality industry and other sectors.
The service will see four-times-weekly flights, year-round.
Air Canada’s flights to T&T were halted several years ago due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Air Canada will operate the following schedule between Toronto Pearson (YYZ) and Port of Spain (POS):
- Flight AC 984 Toronto to Port of Spain – Mondays, Thursdays, Friday and Sundays at 20:00; and
- Flight AC 985 Port of Spain to Toronto – Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 02:35.
