The Agriculture Minister has told the newest board of the Agricultural Development Bank that it will not be “business as usual.”

The ADB is charged with the task of nurturing agriculture, commercial fishing and related industries while also mobilizing funds to propel their growth.

However, Minister Kazim Hosein emphasised the need for prudence and foresight in decision-making, reminding the Board of their fiduciary duty to all stakeholders.

He said, “It’s not business as usual at the ADB. The ADB holds a pivotal role in building capacity within the sector. I urge you to exercise caution and due diligence.”
