There is no evidence of millipede infestation in Trinidad and Tobago at this time, according to the Agriculture Ministry.
In a media release, the Ministry says media reports circulating recently contain information pertaining to Grenada.
It adds that while conditions in T&T can lead to millipede outbreaks, there is no evidence of any such infestation happening in T&T at this time.
The Ministry says it remains vigilant in monitoring pest and environmental conditions and will take the necessary action should any significant issue arise.
