Acting Police Commissioner Junior Benjamin says he received a document yesterday from Senior Superintendent Roger Alexander about his intention to resign.

He did not offer any further comment, adding that he will give the courtesy to Mr Alexander to disclose any further information.

At this morning’s Police Briefing, the Top Cop offered best wishes to Mr Alexander in his future endeavours.

Mr Alexander was last assigned to the TTPS Anti-Extortion Unit and is tipped to be an election candidate.
