Overnight rainfall in parts of North Trinidad continues to affect operations at some WASA water treatment facilities.

The Authority says high turbidity and clogged screens caused by flooded rivers have impacted its plants in L&N, Matura, and North Oropouche.

Meanwhile, following an earlier disruption due to adverse weather, several other water treatment plants have returned to service.

These are: Tompire, Quare, Guanapo and Aripo.
