An adverse weather alert is in place for Trinidad.

According to the Met Service, the yellow-level warning is in place until 6pm on Friday.

It says while the weather will remain unsettled overall, there may be settled periods between showers.

However, conditions could still result in localized flooding, ponding, landslides or landslips in vulnerable areas and gusty winds during heavier downpours.
