The A.P.T. James is back on the water.
The vessel returned to service this afternoon, after being dry-docked.
The Buccoo Reef will now be withdrawn from service for its statutory dry-docking exercises/works – it is expected to return to service on February 22nd 2024.
The Inter-Island Transportation Company says the works are necessary to ensure a safe and reliable service, and to maintain Class certifications.
It adds that the inter-island sea bridge will continue to be serviced by three vessels, namely the A.P.T. James, the Galleons Passage, and the M.V. Cabo Star.
