8-year-old Xhaiden Darius is the 2025 National Junior Calypso Monarch!

Xhaiden, a pupil of Savonetta Primary School, won the competition with his song titled “Calypso Will Survive”.

Placing second was 16-year-old Koquice Davidson of Bishop’s High School, while third place went to 15-year-old Nataki Thompson of Scarborough Secondary School.

The 2025 National Junior Calypso Monarch Finals were held today at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah in Port of Spain.
