Eight officers have been promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police, while six have been elevated to Senior Superintendent of Police.
Commissioner of Police, Erla Harewood-Christopher, congratulated the promoted officers and reminded them of their need to “build an organisation that is competent, agile, effective, and professional”.
The new Assistant Commissioners of Police are:
- ACP Wayne Mystar
- ACP Curt Simon
- ACP Richard Smith
- ACP Andy Teewarie
- ACP Brian Soodeen
- ACP Anand Ramesar
- ACP Anthony Remy
- ACP Rishi Singh
The newly appointed Senior Superintendents are:
- Senior Superintendent Roger Alexander
- Senior Superintendent Michael Jackman
- Senior Superintendent Arlet Groome
- Senior Superintendent Brian Ramphal
- Senior Superintendent Andrew John
- Senior Superintendent Christopher Paponette
The appointments are effective immediately.
