A Venezuelan woman is among eight persons arrested for various offences during an Operation Blue Line exercise in the Mayaro district yesterday.

According to the TTPS, an Austria Glock 19 Pistol was recovered, along with a magazine and ammunition.

Quantities of cocaine and marijuana were also seized.

Meanwhile, in a separate exercise, the North Central Division Task Force found a pistol, five rounds of ammunition and a quantity of marijuana along a riverbank in Monte Grande.

Investigations into these matters are continuing.
