A 51-year-old man has been remanded into custody on charges of sexual touching of a child and serious indecency against a minor.

The Longdenville resident appeared in court on Monday.

On two occasions between 2022 and 2024 a child was allegedly awakened from sleep by a man she knows who was touching her sexually.

The matter was reported to police on January 31st, 2024 and a male suspect was arrested that same day.
