Three male and two female Trinbagonians have been deported from the United States.

According to the US Embassy, the five arrived on a charter flight at Piarco International Airport on June 12th.

Ranging in age from 19 to 57, all are said to have significant criminal records.

One, who was previously deported from the US, also had an outstanding warrant in T&T for robbery.

They were processed by T&T Customs and Immigration and the TTPS on arrival.

Representatives from the Ministry of the People Social and the NGO Vision on Mission were also present to provide essential services to those in need of assistance.
