A 36-year-old man is now the third person charged in connection with a double murder in Carenage.

On the night of August 14th 2023, 20-year-old Elijah Brewster and 39-year-old Leon Sylvester were shot and killed by a group of armed men.

In addition to murder, the accused of Scorpion Alley, Carenage is also charged with possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.

He was due to appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate today.

Martin Dedier and Kenniatha Glasgow were previously charged in connection with the murders and appeared in court on September 18th 2023.
