Marijuana trees valued at $300,000 have been found in Carapichaima.

Between 3pm and 6pm yesterday, officers went to a vacant lot along Orange Field Road, where they found 50 marijuana trees, along with a black plastic bag containing a firearm fitted with a magazine containing five rounds of ammunition.

The items were seized and conveyed to the Couva Police Station.
