The TTPS says a Criminal Operation was disrupted over the weekend after officers seized a large cache of guns in Chaguanas and arrested three men.

On Saturday, police received intelligence that armed individuals were at a premises on Shawfield Drive in Edinburgh Village and allegedly preparing to launch an attack on a rival gang.

A team was dispatched to the location, where officers found several men gathered around a white Toyota Aqua parked along the pavement.

In the vehicle’s trunk were several firearms.

The detained suspects are:
A 22-year-old man from 7th Street, Edinburgh 500
A 43-year-old man from 5th Street, Springland, Gasparillo
A 20-year-old man from Cacandee Road, Felicity
