Three men are now in custody after a violent brawl at their Rio Claro workplace.

The TTPS says the incident occurred around 3pm yesterday, after a verbal confrontation quickly escalated.

A 21-year-old man was allegedly chopped and stabbed by the three suspects, while a co-worker was beaten and chopped after trying to intervene.

The group was reportedly disarmed and held by officers attached to the Mayaro/Rio Claro Municipal Police who were on duty nearby.

The suspects are two 18-year-olds and a 22-year-old, all from Rio Claro.
