IAMovement and NGC TT are teaming up for the 2nd annual Caribbean Green Infrastructure Conference.
The event will take place next week, January 23rd to 24th 2025 at the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business.
This year’s conference will focus on green bonds and carbon credits.
According to Investopedia, carbon credits are permits that allow the owner to emit a certain amount of carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases, while a green bond is a fixed-income debt instrument earmarked to raise money for climate and environmental projects.
The two-day hybrid event is also expected to feature thought-provoking discussions, novel solutions and global perspectives on sustainability.
Additionally, Day 2 of the event will see participants observe the IAMovement’s and Close the Loop Caribbean’s reforestation activities in Sangre Grande and the Industrial Scale Composting Facility in Orange Grove.
The Objectives of the Conference are:
