A Morvant man has been granted bail after being charged with possession of house-breaking implements.
On March 18th, 2024, police responded to a report of a break-in at a credit union in Barataria where men were said to be loading a safe into a white panel van.
Officers allegedly found a man seated in a vehicle matching the description and, during a search of the van, they found items including a blow torch and a pickaxe.
24-year-old Troy Williams has since been granted $25,000 bail and must report once a month to the Morvant Police Station.
The matter has been postponed to April 24th, 2024 at the Port of Spain Magistrates’ Court.
