23 wickets fell during the rollercoaster that was the 1st day of the 2nd Test between India and South Africa in Capetown.
South Africa were first bowled out for 55, with Mohammed Siraj grabbing 6/15.
In reply, India seemed in control on 153-4, but went on to lose their last six wickets for no runs in 11 balls after tea.
In their 2nd time at the crease, the Proteas were able to reach 62/3 by stumps.
They will have work to do on Day 2 as they still trail the visitors by 36 runs.
The top score throughout the day was 46 from Virat Kohli during India’s innings.
BBC Sport says the teams’ first two innings lasted a total of just 349 balls or 58.1 overs – the second-fewest ever.
