A 37-year-old mechanic has been granted $200,000 bail on charges of demanding money by menace from a businessman.

A suspect was arrested and charged after police investigated reports that, between August 3rd and 14th, 2023, men were allegedly demanding that a businessman pay monies to them.

Keston Oliver of Kelly Village appeared in court on January 26th, 2024, and the matter has been postponed to February 22nd, 2024.

During this time, he must report to his local police station bi-weekly and is not to have any contact with the alleged victim or witnesses in the matter.

Police are expecting to make further arrests in this case.
