A 20-year-old Point Fortin man has appeared in court charged with sexual offences against a minor.

The charges stem from an incident in which the victim was reported missing this week and later found at the suspect’s home.

Kendel Ackie was subsequently charged with two counts of sexual penetration of a female minor.

He was granted $200,000 bail and ordered to stay away from the victim.
