Three persons were killed in separate incidents on Christmas Day.
Shortly before 10am, Javeed “Fish” Mohammed was driving his SUV along Rodney Road in Chaguanas, when two gunmen drove up to his vehicle on a motorcycle.
One of the men opened fire, hitting Mohammed, who crashed into a nearby wall.
He was later pronounced dead at the Chaguanas District Health Facility.
Several hours earlier, a 29-year-old Toco man was shot and killed at his home.
Reports say Kelvin Ramsamooj and his family were asleep at their home on Monsegue Trace when shots were fired.
He was attempted to run but was shot twice in the back and later died at hospital.
Meanwhile a man was killed around 2pm in Cunupia.
A report by the T&T Express says the victim was at Jonathan Trace when a gunman shot him several times.
He was also later pronounced dead at hospital.
