Two men were arrested in the midst of a break-in at a business in Sangre Grande.

The owner secured the premises around 12:30am on Tuesday, however he received an alert a short while later informing him of a disruption to the electricity supply.

When he returned around 12:40am, he discovered signs of forced entry and observed two men inside the building.

The police were called and later apprehended the suspects at the back of the building.

Several bags containing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as an assortment of cigarettes, were recovered in the yard.
