Two teenagers were killed and one injured after the car they were in crashed while allegedly trying to evade a police exercise in Pointe-a-Pierre.

According to a Newsday report, the deceased have been identified as 16-year-old Kelita Jamal King and 19-year-old Trey Collymore, both of Marabella.

Around 9:40pm yesterday, officers were conducting a roadblock along the Southern Main Road, near Tropical Plaza.

The driver of a Red Nissan Tiida reportedly refused to stop, leading to a chase which ended after the car crashed near Flower Pot Beach.
