Two men were held after police found over $1 million worth of marijuana in their vehicle.

Around 4pm on November 14th 2024, officers intercepted a white Kia K2700 vehicle along

Edinburgh Boulevard West, Chaguanas.

In the vehicle they found a black plastic bag containing 20 packets of cannabis with a combined weight of 10.6 kilograms and an estimated street value of $1,163,318.20.

The two occupants of the vehicle were immediately taken into custody.
