Two men were arrested as police recovered a number of stolen items.

On Saturday afternoon, officers of the Couva CID conducted an anti-crime exercise after receiving information related to a report of a break-in.

A team of officers went to an address on the Southern Main Road, near Pranz Gardens, where they found two men in possession of the stolen items.

These included several lengths of industrial electrical cords, various tools, and multiple metal pipe fittings.

The suspects are a 26-year-old and a 34-year-old, both from Claxton Bay.
