Police Commissioner Erla Christopher is welcoming the appointment of two Deputy Commissioners.

On Friday, Junior Benjamin and Natasha George were confirmed in the roles by the Parliament.

The Top Cop says the offices of Deputy Police Commissioner are crucial to the effective functioning of the TTPS and having them filled substantively is beneficial to the Service.

She adds that she looks forward to working with DCPs Benjamin and George who have distinguished themselves as being eminently qualified and competent to function in the office of Deputy Commissioner.
