A 19-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Sangre Grande last night.

The incident occurred around 10:24pm while Prince Charles was liming with others along the Eastern Main Road, near KFC Restaurant and Payless.

Charles allegedly danced with a female relative of the suspect, leading to a confrontation.

During the scuffle that ensued, Charles was stabbed on the left side of chest and later succumbed to the injury.

The suspect was held, with officers retrieving a black flip knife, approximately six inches in length.
