15 persons were arrested during two DUI exercises yesterday.

43 drivers were tested between 8am and 12pm in the vicinity of Gasparillo By-pass Road, with 13 found to be above the limit.

Later that day in the North Central Division, two persons were arrested: one for driving without a driver’s permit and insurance, and another for driving while under the influence of alcohol.

A total of 15 fixed penalty notices were also issued in both instances for various traffic offences.
