Drugs and firearm seizures, as well as warrant executions lead to the arrest of 15 people over the weekend in south and west Trinidad.

Police say 13 arrests came in the Southern Division for various offences including two for cocaine possession and one for marijuana possession.

A firearm was also recovered from a bushy area in Princes Town.

In the Western Division, two men – 30 years old and 56 years old – were arrested for possession of marijuana in excess of the 30 grams allowed under the decriminalization law.
