Approximately $100,000 worth of marijuana has been seized by police.

On December 1st 2023, officers went to La Puerta in Diego Martin and, acting on information, searched an abandoned structure.

They found over 5kgs on marijuana, one extended magazine and a quantity of ammunition.

Inquiries are continuing into the discovery.

Meanwhile, on December 3rd 2023, police went to Enterprise and executed a search warrant at the home of a 22-year-old man.

They allegedly found over 1kg of marijuana in two rectangular, brown packets, leading to the man’s arrest.
