There were two 3.9 magnitude earthquakes this morning, in roughly the same area west of Port of Spain on the Venezuela peninsula.

The first one was recorded around 3:14am 67km northwest of Port of Spain while the other was at 8:16am 70km west of the capital.

In both instances, some persons reported feeling the quake, while others said they felt nothing.
