Finland tops World Happiness Report

For the seventh year in a row, Finland has landed the top spot on the World Happiness Report’s annual ranking of the happiest countries in the world.

The annual World Happiness Report rankings are largely based on subjective life evaluations compiled over the past three years from the Gallup World Poll in cooperation with the University of Oxford’s Wellbeing Research Centre and the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.

These include self-assessed life evaluations, as well as GDP per capita, Social Support, Healthy life expectancy, freedom and Freedom of corruption.

Second was Denmark and third was Iceland.

The bottom three are Lesotho, Lebanon and Afghanistan.

A number of countries are not included on the list, including T&T.
